The street tacos are very good. They have also obtained a liquor license and no have happy hour. The staff was a couple of young men behind the counter, and they couldn't have been nicer. I ordered the catfish and fries for lunch, and it made exactly how I like it. “ I had a desire for a cheeseburger. When I checked nearby places on the map, I noticed I have never been to this part of Grapevine. Since it was not too far away, I decided to drive here. The drive reminded me of a similar drive to Little Pete's in Flower Mound a couple decades ago. The route was somewhat windy and the parking could be an issue after a heavy rain. There was no confusion about being counter-service. Signs clearly indicated to order at the window. Although there was a QR code for their online menu, there were laminated menus as well. The Cheddar Skirt Steak Burger on the specials board got my immediate attention. I ended up ordering that with a side of onion rings. Ordering was a breeze with the friendly and attentive service at the window counter. When I went around the corner to sit aside, I noticed a table on the corner with a great lake view. Unfortunately, it was already grabbed by regulars. Actually, all the tables on the far side of the deck were taken by the winged guests. Since not all the tables had them, I chose a table which had a paper towel dispenser. Eventually my food arrived and I was quite surprised by the size of the burger. I mistakenly thought the skirt steak would be cut or chopped to fit the size of the bun. The steak was cooked well done, so the burger was dry and tasted charred. Luckily, the cheddar cheese provided needed flavor. Once I started eating into the bun, I discovered a hamburger patty. That is when I getting better tasting burger. Almost like a double cheeseburger, rather than two beef patties, this one had one beef patty and one very thin but large skirt steak. At the end, it ended up being an okay cheeseburger. Due to the messiness of handling a large burger, I would recommend ordering another burger. As for the onion rings, I only ate a couple. I expected ones which I could taste the onion with every bite. I ended up with onion strings and definitely tasted the fried breading with every bite. I considered it a blessing in disguise as I was able to finish the entire burger. ”

It was a great discovery for me because I've never been to lake in Dallas area even I lived in TX for years. It feels like small marina del Rey in CA, lots of boats, harbors, and salty air. People enjoyed hot weather drinking beers, eating sea food, listening country music. We ordered the hamburger, sea food baskets, chicken strips. Delicious with fresh ingredients.
